Check out two new mixes...

In my spare time I like to do remixes of classic tracks - but only using the original tracks and no new samples..

Here's one of Space Oddity by Bowie

And here's a Bluesy / more funky studio-vibe feel added to Don't Let Me Down by The Beatles

Let me know what you think!

Twiggy - Twiggy [1976]

1976 / Mercury / 9102 600
Everyone thinks Twiggy as a model, but she did record two great albums for Mercury in the late-seventies in the Country/Pop genre, and here is the first self-titled effort. You'd be silly to dismiss this, particularly as you'd missed out on Twiggy's fine cover of Jackie DeShannon's "Vanilla O'Lay" and the strong "Everything Comes In Time". I'll be uploading Twiggy's second album for Mercury "Please Get My Name Right" in the near future.

Andy Williams - The Wonderful World Of Andy Williams [Mono 1964]

1964 / Columbia / MONO CL-2137
Effortlessly tackling the pop hits of the day, and here bringing his whole family ensemble into the mix! Andy Williams, in one of my favourite long-players of his, joyfully skips through Twelve lounge/croon classics in glorious unreleased-on-CD mono! I particularly love his version of Bacharach's Wives And Lovers! Enjoy!

Paul Williams - A Little Bit Of Love [1974]

1974 / A&M / AMLH 63655
I get requested for Paul Williams more than any other artist so here you go - a new remaster and a reupload of his 1974 effort. Some good tracks, particularly "Sunday" and "Nice To Be Around" -  Enjoy PW fans!

Sandie Shaw - Sandie Sings [Mono 1966]

1966 / Pye / MONO GGL 0378
Sandie Shaw is the perfect encapsulation of swingin' sixties London. A primary-colour blend of pop, soul, rock & roll and jazz sensibilities presented here in delicious Mono (most mixes unreleased on modern CD). A short, simple pleasure!

The Hollies - Hollies' Greatest [Mono 1968]

1968 / EMI/Parlophone / PMC 7057
I'm noticing a growing trend of Hollies fan year-by-year, and their mixes are all over the place when it comes to no-noise CD masterings and pure mono greatness. Therefore, this is the release you want to check out - with some dedicated mono mixes of some classics like King Midas In Reverse. A pure collection of joy!

Chi-Lites - Chi-Lites [1973]

1973 / Brunswick / BRLS 3009
Wow! The Chi-Lites put the soul into soulful, and finding decent non-NR'd to hell version of their albums is very, very difficult in the CD age. Here's their brilliant self-titled 1973 album from Brunswick, featuring the amazing Stoned Out Of My Mind and Go Away Dream. Give it a spin!
